Day 1...getting settled, climbing in the clouds, and getting to know each other!

We're just about heading to bed! We're tired and praying for a good sleep so we are ready for a great Monday! 

Today, we made it to Sisseton in awesome time which gave us plenty if time to explore the town of Sisseton. After lunch, a trip to Shopko, climbing Nicolette tower (see below) we hung out at the park and enjoyed rain!

We arrived at our site at 4:00, hung out, and ate dinner.  At club tonight we were introduced to the theme for the week "desirable!" We were reminded that God loves us just as we are, calls us his son and daughter, and calls us to try and see all people as children of God too. 

 

Something cool we learned today... We climbed the Nicolette tower ... Named after a French philosopher and map created (I don't remember the fancy name for that) - anyway he created a topographic  map of the this area and MN and is the guy Nicollet mall etc is named after. You are suppose to see three states from the top of the tower... We aw clouds :)
